If I want to cook my own chicken breast, would I cook 50 ounces (3# appox) of uncooked chicken ?

I haven’t made this recipe with cooking my own chicken. If I did, I would probably cook around 2.5 lbs of chicken for this recipe since canned chicken has a lot of water in it. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!Aunt Lou

I made this recipe and WOW it was very flavorful. Nothing needs to be added. I loved it and everyone at the party loved it to. ❤️

It is typically by the other canned meats. Our Ruler Foods had the huge 50 oz can or 10 oz cans. If your store doesn’t carry the 50 oz can, just grab 5 of the 10 oz cans.

Looks like a great football Sunday recipe, but I have to ask, where do you find a 50oz can of chicken?
