The smaller class sizes at Saint Leo University foster a unique and invaluable connection between students and professors. In these intimate settings, every student has the opportunity to actively engage with course material, ask questions, and participate in meaningful discussions. This close interaction with professors allows for personalized attention and support, enabling students to receive individualized guidance and mentorship tailored to their needs and interests.
Moreover, the smaller class sizes create a collaborative learning environment where students can form strong bonds with their peers and develop a sense of community within the classroom. This sense of camaraderie enhances the learning experience, as students feel more comfortable expressing their ideas and perspectives.

After being at Saint Leo for three years, I would say my overall experience has been pretty great. Being a student here has allowed me to get to know my professors in more individual and personal setting. All of our professors here known you by name which is very helpfully and can’t be found at a lot of bigger schools. I have also been able to get involved around campus by joining our Student Ambassadors Team, Sorority Community, and the Resident Assistant Team. Everyone in these communities are so welcoming and create an environment that someone should want to be apart of in their future. I am very grateful that I have been able to be involved in these communities and it allows me to build on my personal and academic growth.

I transfered to Saint Leo on a one year scholarship as a sort of exchange student from my home institution in the UK and I cannot wait to return home.
The school is advertised as being one that is geared towards international students. If this was truly the case they would be more accommodating of the fact there are so many international students. The university is nowhere near Tampa, or anything else bar commercial parks in Wesley Chapel - access to which requires a car. Off campus trips are sparse and pointless, often to Walmart and malls. Food is noticeably poorer at the weekends (when local students go home) and the canteen times resemble a high school. You will be extremely bored here. I found none of the much hyped American Greek life - they exist but don't have houses, which to me seems a little pathetic.
Local young people don't know this place exists or think it's a joke. High proportion of students come for 1/2 semesters and then leave. Don't know how money is made.
